The third phase of the viva voce examination for candidates who passed the written test of the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will begin on September 13 and continue until September 29.
The interviews will be held every day from 10:00am at the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) headquarters in Agargaon, Dhaka.
The PSC announced the schedule in a notice issued on Wednesday (September 2), signed by Masuma Afrin, Controller of Examinations (Cadre) at the commission.
A total of 2,535 candidates will appear for the viva in the third phase.
Candidates applying for general cadres will attend the viva on September 13 and 14. From September 15 to 24, interviews will be conducted for candidates applying for general as well as general and technical/professional cadres. Candidates for technical and professional cadres will attend the viva from September 27 to 29.
The PSC said candidates must bring the prescribed form, attested copies of the required certificates, and the original certificates to the viva. Candidates must download their interview cards from the PSC website on their own responsibility.
The commission also warned that candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date will not be given another opportunity to sit for the viva.
Furthermore, any attempt to exert influence, lobbying or other unethical means to secure an advantage will be considered grounds for disqualification.
