2 killed as covered van smashes autorickshaw in Gazipur

Two people were killed and three others injured after a covered van smashed a CNG-run autorickshaw in Gazipur's Kaliakair upazila on Saturday.

The accident occurred around 11:30 AM in the Kanchanpur Chairman Bari area on the Kaliakair-Fulbaria-Mawna regional road.

The injured were taken to Kaliakair Upazila Health Complex, where on-duty doctors declared two dead.

Police said efforts are underway to identify the victims.
