Rain accompanied by thunderstorms may occur across the capital city and adjacent areas by Friday (September 11) afternoon, according to a morning bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Daytime temperatures are projected to increase slightly during this period, stated the weather forecast valid for six hours starting from 7:00 AM on Friday (September 11).
The meteorological report indicated that skies over Dhaka will remain partly cloudy to temporarily overcast. Winds are expected to blow from the south or south-easterly direction at speeds ranging between 8 and 12 kilometers per hour.
Dhaka recorded a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius at 6:00 AM on Friday, with relative humidity standing at 91 per cent.
The minimum temperature for the day was logged at 27.7 degrees Celsius, following a maximum recorded temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Total precipitation recorded over the preceding 24 hours stood at 3 millimeters.
Sunset in Dhaka is scheduled for 6:07 PM on Friday, while sunrise on Saturday will take place at 5:44 AM.
