A five-day ‘BSCIC Leather and Leather Goods Fair-2026’ will begin in Tejgaon, Dhaka today (Wednesday), featuring a wide range of leather and leather-based products made by local entrepreneurs.
Organised by the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), the fair will run from Wednesday, September 16, to September 20 at the BSCIC headquarters premises.
Various entrepreneurs and businesses from across the country will display and sell their leather and leather-based products at the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of locally made leather goods.
The opening ceremony will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday. Advocate Md Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Political Adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office and Adviser to the Ministry of Industries, will inaugurate the fair.
According to BSCIC, the fair will feature a range of leather products, including bags, shoes, wallets and other utility and fashion items.
The event is expected to provide local entrepreneurs with an opportunity to market their products and establish direct contact with customers.
