Bangladesh condemns reported drone attack on Makkah

Bangladesh has strongly condemned the reported drone attack targeting the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday expressing its condemnation.

Bangladesh said it has deep respect for Makkah and other holy sites in Saudi Arabia and expressed solidarity with the Saudi government and people in ensuring their safety and security.

The statement stressed that the security, dignity and protection of the holy sites must always be fully ensured.
