Community Bank Bangladesh holds 80th board meeting

The 80th board meeting of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC was held at Police Headquarters on Monday (September 21) with Md Ali Hossain Fakir, Inspector General of Police and chairman of the bank, in the chair.

The board discussed several investment proposals and various policy-related matters of the bank and took necessary decisions.

A number of senior Bangladesh Police officials attended the meeting, including Additional Inspectors General A K M Awlad Hossain, Md Akram Hossain, Khondoker Rafiqul Islam, Sarder Nurul Amin and Md Kamrul Ahsan.

Other attendees included Md Ahsan Habib Palash, Director General of the Special Branch; Md Zulfikar Ali Haidar, Deputy Inspector General of Barishal Range; Md Atiqur Rahman, DIG (Finance); and Mohammad Sharif Uddin and Ahmad Muyeed, both Additional DIGs.

Khandaker Shamima Yesmin, Additional DIG (Repair & Maintenance); Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Inspector; and independent directors Dr Md Morshed Hasan Khan, Syed Rafiqul Haq and Mohammed Tofazzal Hussain FCA were also present.

Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, Managing Director of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Saiful Alam FCS, Company Secretary, attended the meeting along with other officials.
