PM holds bilateral talks with Iranian President

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a bilateral meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in New York on Wednesday (September 23).
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
According to information from the Iranian President's Office, President Pezeshkian engaged in a series of bilateral discussions with various world leaders upon arriving in New York for the assembly, which included the meeting with Bangladesh's Prime Minister.
During the session, the two leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations.
Further specific details regarding the agenda and discussions were not immediately released by either delegation.
World leaders gathered in New York for the high-level UN General Assembly session continue to hold high-profile bilateral meetings on the sidelines to strengthen diplomatic and bilateral engagement.
