51st spl BCS to recruit 5,000 doctors

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the notification for the 51st Special Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Examination 2026 to recruit 5,000 doctors to the BCS (Health) cadre.

Of the total posts, 4,700 will be appointed as assistant surgeons and 300 as assistant dental surgeons, according to the notification issued on Thursday.

Online applications will open at 10:00am on October 1 and continue until 6:00pm on October 25. Candidates aged 21 to 32 years as of September 1, 2026 will be eligible to apply.

Applicants must complete the process through the websites of Teletalk Bangladesh Limited or the PSC. The application fee is Tk200 for general candidates and Tk50 for candidates from ethnic minority communities, persons with disabilities and third-gender applicants.
