XI admission: 2nd-phase applications open today

Online applications for the second phase of Class XI admission for the 2026-27 academic year will open today (Sunday) and remain open until 8PM on Monday.

According to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, students from three categories will be eligible to apply in the second phase.

Admission officials said the decision was taken to provide another opportunity for students seeking admission to Class XI through the online system.

Students must follow the detailed instructions available on the designated admission website of the education boards. Applicants and their guardians are required to select a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 colleges, considering the availability of seats.

Students who applied in the first phase but did not receive a college selection will not have to pay the Tk 220 application fee again. They will need to log in to the admission website and complete the college selection/edit process.

The authorities have also urged students to apply under quota categories only if they meet the relevant eligibility criteria and to pay the confirmation fee within the stipulated deadline after the results are published.

Who can apply in the second phase

Students who did not apply previously or applied but did not receive a college selection.

Students who received a final nomination but could not confirm their selection or failed to complete admission within the stipulated period.

Students who received a final nomination but could not enrol because they had selected an incorrect quota.

The results of the second-phase selection will be published at 8pm on October 1.

Selected students will be able to confirm their selection from the publication of the results until 8PM on October 3. Students who fail to complete the confirmation within the deadline will have their selection and application cancelled.

The second migration results, based on students’ preference order, will be published at 8pm on October 4.

Admission of students selected in the second phase will take place from October 5 to 7.
