Politeness always pays off: Amin Khan

Actor Amin Khan says being polite and down-to-earth can help people avoid unnecessary trouble and earn a positive response from others.

“Being down to earth has many benefits. You can avoid many dangers and troubles in life. Another thing is that there is no harm in speaking politely or being polite. Rather, you will get a very good response. The value of politeness is realised sooner or later. Why be rude unnecessarily?” he said.

Amin Khan, once a hugely popular actor in Bangla cinema, has been largely away from acting for more than a decade as he has been busy in the corporate world.

Speaking about his return to the screen, he said he would soon be seen in front of the camera. Shooting for the film Gulshaner Chameli will begin in December.

“If I find good stories, I will certainly work regularly again. Talks are already underway for several films,” he said.

The film Gulshaner Chameli will be directed by Mohammad Iqbal. Madhumita Sarkar, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Misha Sawdagor, Omar Sani and Rozina are also set to star in it.
