President, PM hold courtesy meeting at Bangabhaban

President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a courtesy meeting at Bangabhaban on Tuesday.
The meeting took place on September 29, according to the President’s Press Wing.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh on Sunday after attending the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During his visit, the prime minister attended around 30 meetings, discussions and programmes at various levels, besides delivering his first address to the UN General Assembly.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the prime minister briefed the president on his UNGA visit and related engagements.
