Aishwarya Rai faces body-shaming after Paris Fashion Week appearance

Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has faced online criticism over her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, with some social media users making comments about her body and speculating about a possible pregnancy.

Aishwarya attended L’Oréal Paris’ Le Défilé event near the Eiffel Tower on Monday. She walked the runway alongside international stars including Kylie Jenner, Celine Dion, Simone Ashley, Eva Longoria and Cara Delevingne.

Photos and videos from the event went viral on social media, prompting some users to comment on her appearance. Some questioned whether she was pregnant, while others made derogatory remarks about her body and criticised her outfit.

Some users also commented on her fashion choices and suggested that she should lose weight using Ozempic.

Aishwarya, who has represented India at international film festivals and fashion events for more than two decades, has faced similar comments about her appearance in the past.

The L’Oréal Paris show carried the tagline ‘Walk Your Worth’, promoting confidence and self-worth. Aishwarya has previously spoken about body confidence, urging women to value themselves, remain confident and never blame their appearance or clothing when they face harassment.
