The decision was finalized on Wednesday (September 30) during the 123rd meeting of the university's Syndicate, the highest policy-making body of the institution, a syndicate member confirmed on Thursday (October 1).

The permanently dismissed faculty members include former Associate Professor of Mathematics Mashiur Rahman, Associate Professor of Public Administration Asaduzzaman Mandal (Asad), and former Proctor and Associate Professor of Political Science Shariful Islam.

The terminated administrative staff include Office Assistant-cum-Computer Operator Mahabubar Rahman (Babu), former Assistant Registrar Rafiual Hasan Russel, Assistant Registrar Hafizur Rahman (Tufan), Section Officer Moniruzzaman Palash, MLSS Mohammad Nurunnabi Mandal, Security Guard Nur Alam Mia, and MLSS A.K.M.
