A shortage of LPG has hit Rangamati, leaving CNG and LPG powered vehicle drivers waiting in long queues at filling stations amid inadequate supply.
Drivers have been waiting for hours at several filling stations in Rangamati town since Saturday morning, with many reportedly unable to get the required amount of gas.
The shortage has also created uncertainty over when fresh supplies will arrive, while some drivers said they had visited multiple stations without finding LPG.
Filling station operators said they were unable to meet demand as LPG supplies remained inadequate.
The shortage is causing delays for drivers and affecting passenger transport, with stakeholders calling for a quick restoration of normal LPG supplies.
