Lebanese famous singer Nada Dandash has died in a road accident, according to reports, with the crash occurring on Saturday (October 3).
Details of the accident have not been disclosed.
Her death has sparked an outpouring of grief in her hometown of Hermel and among her fans, who have been sharing clips from her concerts, television appearances and songs on social media.
Known as the “Daughter of the Orontes,” Dandash had gained recognition for blending traditional Arabic tarab with modern pop music.
She rose to prominence after appearing on LBCI’s 'Al Masrah' in May 2024, where she performed “Mashwar Al Hayat”, a popular song by the late Lebanese singer Nihat Tarabe.
