Actress Tanushree Dutta has mocked the death of veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, referring to the news as “evil dead” in a social media video while offering condolences to his family.
Patekar, 75, died of cardiac arrest in Goa on Thursday (October 8), according to hospital sources.
In an Instagram video, Tanushree said she had heard about Patekar’s death while preparing to travel to Lucknow for an event. She said she was concerned that the media would focus on the “evil dead” later in the day and that she would decide how to respond before giving her full reaction.
She did not mention Patekar by name in the video but ended by offering condolences to his family.
Tanushree had accused Patekar of sexual harassment in 2018 in connection with the shooting of the 2009 film 'Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss'. Patekar denied the allegations, while a Mumbai Police investigation later closed the case citing insufficient evidence.
