No scope for AL politics without acknowledging July: Partho

Information Minister Andaleeve Rahman Partho has said the Awami League must acknowledge the July uprising and apologise before returning to politics.

Speaking to journalists in Bhola on Thursday, he said the people would decide the party’s political future after those responsible were punished.

He also accused the Awami League of trying to portray Bangladesh as lacking democracy abroad and said the country was still recovering from its 17-year rule.
