Raju Gazi, a young man who went viral after shaking hands with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is now in trouble after a video of him chanting “Joy Bangla” surfaced on social media.

Since the video spread on Saturday morning, his Facebook account has reportedly become unavailable and his mobile phone has been found switched off.

Tarique Rahman visited Dacope in Khulna for the first time on October 22. During the visit, the prime minister shook hands with Raju, 20, who later shared the video on Facebook, drawing widespread attention.

In the latest video, Raju is heard saying, “Sheikh Hasina has left, but she did not take Joy Bangla with her,” before chanting the slogan.

Raju sells peanuts in Dacope and also creates videos for Facebook.

Dacope Police Station Investigation Inspector Prabir Kumar Biswas said no one had filed a complaint over the incident. Police would look into the matter, he added.
