Observer Online Report

The results of the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on October 29, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has announced.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the date on Saturday night (October 24).

Earlier, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee had proposed to the Ministry of Education that the results be published between October 25 and 29. Accordingly, October 29 was fixed as the publication date.

This year's HSC and equivalent examinations were held across the country from July 2 to August 8. However, examinations under several boards, including Chattogram, took longer to complete due to floods and heavy rainfall.

A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions appeared in this year's HSC and equivalent examinations under the nine general education boards, the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.
