A young man dressed like former president and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman drew attention at the party's procession marking National Revolution and Solidarity Day in Dhaka on Saturday (November 7).
Standing on a replica cannon mounted on a military tank-style vehicle, the man wore khaki clothes and black sunglasses while raising one hand in greeting.
The vehicle was decorated with BNP symbols, banners and pictures of Ziaur Rahman. A large number of party leaders and activists joined the procession wearing colourful T-shirts, caps and carrying banners and festoons.
The procession started from Nayapaltan and ended at Manik Mia Avenue around 4:45pm after passing through several major roads in the capital.
