Bangladesh celebrates Nov 7 in Malaysia

The Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia celebrated National Revolution and Solidarity Day at its auditorium in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (November 7).

The programme included the recitation of the Holy Quran, messages from the President and Prime Minister, a documentary screening and a discussion on the significance of November 7.

Bangladesh High Commissioner Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury and Malaysia BNP leaders attended the event.

Speakers recalled the role of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman in Bangladesh's political and economic development.

The programme ended with special prayers and a cultural event.
