Dear Sir,

Keeping in mind the idea that today's children shape tomorrow's future, urgent attention must be given to bringing education to thousands of street children scattered across the country. These children represent a neglected segment of society, living in slums, on sidewalks, at railway stations, bus terminals, and market areas, struggling daily for survival while remaining deprived of their most fundamental right.

Street children grow up without stability, protection, or guidance. Deprivation of education pushes them further away from a healthy and dignified life, leaving their future uncertain and bleak. Without access to learning, they remain trapped in cycles of poverty, exploitation, and social exclusion, unable to break free from circumstances beyond their control.

Education is not merely a constitutional right; it is a powerful tool for transformation. For a child, education opens doors to self-discovery, confidence, discipline, and hope. Through education, children gain not only literacy and numeracy, but also awareness about hygiene, ethics, civic responsibility, and social behavior.

Alongside state efforts, affluent and socially conscious citizens must come forward with financial support, volunteering, and advocacy. Media, civil society, and local administrations also have vital roles to play.

Bringing street children under the umbrella of education will not only uplift their lives, but will also contribute to building a safer, humane, and progressive society for all.
