Three die in separate incidents in Joypurhat

 
JOYPURHAT, Apr 2: Three people, including a prisoner, died in separate incidents in the district on Wednesday.

Sub-Inspector Anwar Hossain of Joypurhat Police Station said Alom Hossain, 52, who was serving time in a narcotics case, was admitted to the 250-bed General Hospital with chest pain on Wednesday afternoon. He died there later in the day while undergoing treatment. 

In another incident, a Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee named Simanto Kumar reportedly took his own life by hanging in the city's Sahebpara area. Police said he had been working as a salesman at a local RK showroom and ended his life following family disputes.

Meanwhile, in Khashbatta Village under Aymarsulpur Union of Panchbibi Upazila, a man named Farhad Hossain Faruk, 37, died by suicide after a quarrel with his wife. Panchbibi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Hafiz Md Raihan confirmed the incident.
