Dear Sir,
Globalization and the rapid spread of information technology have transformed modern life. With the widespread use of the internet and smartphones, communication has become easier, but misuse has also increased. One alarming consequence is cyberbullying, now a serious social threat. Bullying refers to aggressive behavior intended to insult, humiliate, or harm others, and it can be physical, verbal, social, or online.
The consequences of cyberbullying can be devastating, sometimes pushing victims toward self-harm. To combat this, laws like the Digital Security Act have been introduced, providing legal consequences for offenders. Support services and reporting platforms also exist to assist victims.
However, legal measures alone are not enough. Parents, teachers, media, and society must work together to raise awareness. Promoting responsible online behavior and empathy is essential. Ultimately, public awareness is the most effective tool to prevent cyberbullying and create a safer digital environment for everyone.
