Mirza Abbas, a member of the BNP Standing Committee and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, has been moved from Singapore to Malaysia for advanced treatment and physiotherapy.

After receiving long treatment at Singapore General Hospital, he was taken to a rehabilitation centre in Malaysia on Tuesday (April 14). This decision was made as his physical condition improved well.

Quoting doctors, his personal secretary, Mizanur Rahman Sohel, told to the Daily Observer that, Mirza Abbas is now much healthier than before. However, he still needs intensive physiotherapy to fully recover, which will be completed in Malaysia.

His family has requested prayers from the people of the country for his quick recovery.
