Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will begin selling advance tickets for its Eid-ul-Azha special bus service from May 17 to facilitate homebound passengers during the festival.
According to a BRTC press release issued on Thursday, the state-run transport agency will launch its “Eid Special Service” from May 23.
The corporation said the special service has been introduced to ensure safe, comfortable and affordable travel for passengers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha 2026.
BRTC also said advance ticket sales for its buses will start from Sunday to ease passenger movement during the Eid rush.
