LGRD Minister and BNP nominated presidential candidate Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said he wishes to remain beside people and serve them even if he becomes the president.
Mirza Fakhrul spoke to the leaders of Thakurgaon Journalist Forum on Tuesday (August 18) at his official residence on Hare road and added, he never imagined he might become president and attributed the nomination to his party and Almighty Allah.
Mirza Fakhrul stated that regardless of his busy schedule, he will always stand by the public and contribute to regional development.
During the meeting, leaders of the Thakurgaon Journalists Forum, Dhaka, congratulated him as the prospective president, during which Mirza Fakhrul expressed emotional gratitude to Almighty Allah and inquired about the journalists.
