Singra Press Club gets new committee

SINGRA, NATORE, May 17: In the Singra Upazila Press Club elections, Md Saiful Islam (Jugantor and Observer) has been elected president and Harun-or-Rashid (Business Mirror and Daily Jonodesh) has been elected general secretary for the term 2026-2027.
 
Natore Press Club President Shahidul Haque Sarkar, General Secretary Kamrul Hasan and Daily Inqilab's Natore Correspondent Azizul Haque Tuku conducted the election held at the Singra Upazila Press Club office on Saturday. Daily Prothom Alo Natore Correspondent Advocate Muktar Hossain declared the results.

The other members are - Senior Vice President Professor Akhtaruzzaman (Daily Naya Diganta), Vice President Md Abdur Rashid (Daily Samakal), Joint Secretary Md Abu Bakkar Siddique (Daily Asia Bani), Treasurer M A Karim (Daily Inqilab), Office Secretary Abdul Alim Khawaja (Dainik Bogura), Publicity Secretary Ripon Hossain (Daily Prantojon), Literature and Sports Secretary Hasibul Hasan Shimul (Daily Rajshahi Pratidin), and Executive Members Sharful Islam Khokon (Daily Amader Shomoy) and Saidur Rahman Sadhu (Writer and Columnist).
