PM’s daughter among 9,201 clear Bar Council Preliminary Exam

A total of 9,201 candidates successfully passed the Bangladesh Bar Council’s preliminary multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination for advocate enrollment, according to the official results released on Friday, 12 June, 2026.

Among the successful candidates is Zaima Rahman, the daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Following the publication of the results on the council’s official website, Zaima confirmed her achievement via a post on her verified Facebook account. She appeared for the examination at the BAF Shaheen College center in the capital.

More than 37,000 candidates sat for the examination this year. Those who passed the MCQ stage will now be eligible to sit for the written examination, the next stage of the enrolment process.
