FENI, June 16: The newly appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) of Feni Pratyush Kumar Majumder held a views-exchange meeting with local journalists at the SP office on Tuesday morning.
At that time, the journalists informed the SP about various issues including the law and order situation in the district.
In his speech, the SP said, “My first responsibility is to ensure the safety of all levels of the people of Feni. I will strive to keep the law and order of Feni fair and beautiful within the laws and regulations with all the members of my team.”
He also said, “There are many similarities between the work of the police and journalists. We want to work for the welfare of the people in coordination with journalists. The district police will work strongly to maintain law and order, control drugs, and suppress teenage gangs.”
He promised to bring police services to the doorsteps of the people by reducing traffic congestion and increasing social awareness. At that time, Additional SP Md Saiful Islam (DSB) and senior officials of the district police were present.
