One more dies of dengue, 198 hospitalised

One more person died from dengue in the country during the last 24 hours while 198 new patients were admitted to different hospitals during the same period.

The information was disclosed in a dengue-related press release issued on Thursday by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

According to the release, of the patients admitted to hospitals with dengue in the last 24 hours, 49 were from Barishal Division (outside the city corporation areas), 15 from Chattogram Division (outside the city corporation areas), 26 from Dhaka Division (outside the city corporation areas), 28 from 

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 31 from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 13 from Mymensingh Division (outside the city corporation areas), five from Rajshahi Division (outside the city corporation areas) and 31 from Khulna Division (outside the city corporation areas). -BSS
