US Embassy launches‘America Week 2026’

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka to launched “America Week 2026”, a seven-day (July 1-7), multi-city celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence as part of President Trump’s Freedom 250 initiative today. 

U.S. Ambassador Brent T. Christensen will launch the nationwide programmes to bring American history, culture, music, and values to communities across Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, and Rajshahi through concerts, an American Fair, a Founders Museum exhibit, and many other public events, US Embassy release has said on Tuesday. 

U.S. Ambassador Brent T. Christensen will bring U.S. culture, history, and values directly to Bangladeshi communities through signature events including Freedom 250 Concerts featuring the U.S, an US Embassy release has said.

Army’s 25th Infantry Division Brass Band; the American Fair at Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park in Dhaka; launch of a Founders Museum exhibit in Sylhet; and many more exciting events across the country, it reads.
