Baridhara Sunrise wins top Rotary award

The Rotary Club of Baridhara Sunrise has received the Gold Club Award 2026 in recognition of its outstanding performance and community service at the Rotary International Annual Award Ceremony.

The awards were presented at a ceremony held at Sea Palace Hotel and Resorts in Cox’s Bazar on June 26, honouring Rotary clubs and leaders for their service achievements.

The club’s Past President, Deepok Kumar Baral, MD, received the Gold RIPSA Team Award 2026 for his contribution as Coordinator (Finance) of the Rotary International President’s Special Assistant (RIPSA) Team.

Another Past President of the club, M. Fasihur Rahman, PHF, was honoured with the Platinum RIPSA Team Award 2026 for his outstanding contribution as a member of the Rotary International President’s Special Assistant (RIPSA) Team.

The club’s service activities were coordinated by Service Project Chair and Past President Dr Zafrul Islam, PHF, with support from fellow club members.

Past District Governor Ishtiaque A. Zaman, PhD, and Past District Governor Shamsul Huda presented the awards in the presence of Rotary leaders and club members from across the country.
