The Chattogram Education Board has postponed all HSC and equivalent exams scheduled for Saturday (July 11) due to adverse weather and ongoing flood situation.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exam was scheduled to be held on the day. Revised schedule for the postponed exam will be announced later.
Chattogram Education Board Controller of Examinations, Parvez Sazzad Chowdhury signed the notice on Friday afternoon.
According to the notice: HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce exams in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari districts have been postponed.
The decision was taken based on the reports from DC’s of the affected areas.
The postponement also applies to the relevant examinations conducted by the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board in the Chattogram region.
However, examinations scheduled for July 11 under other education boards, as well as in unaffected districts under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board, will be held as scheduled.
