NCP South Regional Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah has alleged that vote theft was conducted in 2014, 2018 and 2024 elections. However, this time election was rigged after the result.
He made the remarks while addressing NCP’s ‘July March’ programme at Maijdee in Noakhali district town on Friday afternoon.
"Vote theft existed before July and it continued after July. Earlier, it happened before the announcement of results. Later, it happened after the results were announced," he said.
The NCP leader also criticized the BNP, saying the country cannot be governed or reformed by going against the younger generation.
He questioned the progress of the government’s employment pledge, stating no new jobs had been ensured after the new government came to power. He added, no new recruitment notices had not been issued in this period.
Speaking about power shortages, Hasnat alleged that electricity problems had worsened and claimed many areas experience long hours of load shedding.
The NCP organized the programme demanding implementation of a referendum, an end to the power crisis, control of commodity prices, increased employment opportunities and stronger border security.
NCP Senior Joint Chief Coordinator and Noakhali-6 MP Abdul Hannan Masud, Central Joint Convener Ali Ahsan Junaid and other party leaders were present.
