BCB President stands by flood affected

Due to continuous downpour, waterlogging and flood have been seen in various regions of Chittagong. People of these districts are living under miserable condition. Thus, BCB President Tamim Iqbal has announced to stand beside the flood-affected.

Although Tamim is currently in Edinburgh, he posted on Facebook that 'Many areas of the country, including Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and Bandarban, are now flood-affected. Lakhs of people are waterlogged. Countless people are passing days in uncertainty and anxiety. We also sympathize with the people affected by this disaster.'

He further said, 'We will definitely provide as much assistance as possible from the BCB for the flood-affected people. I hope this disaster will pass quickly. Until then, let all of us as citizens try unitedly to stand beside the helpless people and do as much as we can within our capacity.'
