The Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has responded to concerns raised over two questions in the HSC Physics First Paper examination, assuring candidates that no student will be disadvantaged if any errors are confirmed.

In an official notice issued on Monday (July 13), Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, Convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee and Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, said the board is conducting a thorough review of complaints regarding Questions six and seven in the creative (written) section of the Physics examination.

According to the statement, the board is treating the matter with the highest priority and is carefully examining the allegations raised through various platforms.

The board said that if the review confirms any errors or inconsistencies in the disputed questions, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that no examinee is unfairly affected. If necessary, students will be obtained full marks for the relevant question.

The Dhaka Education Board also urged students, parents and all concerned parties to refrain from spreading rumors or misleading information while the review process is underway.
