BNP Secretary General and Local Government and Rural Development Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir suddenly fell ill while delivering the inaugural speech of the Rath Yatra at Swamibag.

When he fell ill on Thursday afternoon, he was quickly taken home on the advice of doctors.

He fell ill in the intense heat towards the end of the inaugural speech of the Rath Yatra at Swamibag. He is currently resting on the advice of a doctor.
