
Bangladesh pacer Shariful Islam will miss the remaining two matches of the T20 series against Zimbabwe. The left-arm pacer has been ruled out of the series due to a hamstring injury. He has already left for Bangladesh to begin his rehabilitation process.
After the Test and ODI series, Bangladesh is now busy fighting in the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Mustafizur Rahman was ruled out of the series due to a hamstring injury before the start of the series. This time, Shariful had to leave the team after the first match due to an injury.
Shariful was not in the playing XI for the first match of the T20 series. He had previously played two matches against hosts Zimbabwe in the ODI series. In the second ODI, the pacer gave away 50 runs in 10 overs but did not take any wickets. However, in the last ODI of the series, he took 4 wickets for 44 runs.
