Bangladesh bounced back in the second T20I with a convincing 34-run victory over Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, levelling the series 1-1.
After being asked to bat first, Bangladesh posted 186/6, thanks to a 120-run opening partnership between Saif Hasan (55) and Tanzid Hasan Tamim (58). Mohammad Saifuddin then provided a late flourish with an unbeaten 31 off just 10 balls, including four consecutive sixes in the final over.
In reply, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 152. Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain starred with 4 wickets for 26 runs, while Sheikh Mehedi claimed 3 for 24 to dismantle the hosts' batting lineup. Sikandar Raza scored a quick 28, and Brad Evans added 25, but Zimbabwe failed to chase down the target.
The victory keeps Bangladesh alive in the series after losing the opening match.
