Brighton International School hosts orientation programme for 2026–27 academic year

Brighton International School in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur held its orientation programme for the 2026-27 academic session on Saturday, highlighting its commitment to combining international education with Islamic values for students’ overall development.

The event was attended by Shah Mohammad Waliullah, Member of the Shariah Advisory Board of Bangladesh Bank and Khatib of Subhanbag Jame Mosque, as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he praised the active participation of students, parents, and teachers, and appreciated the school’s learning environment. He stressed the importance of integrating Islamic values with modern education while encouraging students to pursue knowledge, moral excellence, and good character.

Professor Junayed Munir, Dean of USCI University, attended the programme as the Special Guest. He underscored the importance of cooperation among teachers, parents, and the school administration to ensure students’ holistic growth. He expressed optimism that the combination of Islamic values and international education would help students contribute positively at both national and global levels.

Established in 2023 with the motto “Excellence in Moral and Modern Education,” Brighton International School offers the Cambridge Curriculum along with an integrated Islamic education programme, including Hifzul Qur’an, Arabic Language, and Islamic Studies.

The school prepares students for Cambridge O Level and A Level examinations under the supervision of experienced educators. Its Islamic education departments are guided by a former teacher of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and an internationally award-winning Hafiz of the Holy Quran.

Alongside academic programmes, the institution provides various co-curricular activities, including arts and culture, public speaking, science and technology exploration, leadership development, and sports.

The school authorities said their mission is to develop competent, confident, responsible, and compassionate global citizens through a safe, disciplined, and student-focused learning environment that blends Islamic values with international education.
