HSC candidates demand quick routine from Ctg Board

HSC and equivalent candidates have submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of the Chittagong Education Board on Sunday. They demanded that the postponed exams may resume as soon as possible with a logical gap between the tests.

A group of examinees from Chittagong College, Government Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College, Government City College, and Cantonment Public College went to the education board around 11:30AM on Sunday (July 19) to submit a memorandum.

Students demanded that they want to sit for the exams as early as they can. They also requested a new routine with at least two to three days between the postponed exams.

Prolonged uncertainty has caused mental pressure on the students.

Previously, The Chittagong Education Board suspended the remaining exams due to heavy rainfall, hill slides, floods and water logging. Only Bangla first paper, Bangla second paper, and English first paper exam took place.

Meanwhile, examinations in other education boards of the country are ongoing as per the schedule. Consequently, the examinees of the Chattogram board fear falling behind. In this situation, they demanded a quick resumption of the exams and a new routine with logical intervals.

Chattogram Education Board Controller of Examinations Professor Dr. Md. Parvez Sazzad Choudhury said the Chairman has received the memorandum. The matter will be presented to the higher authorities tomorrow.
