The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee has asked Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent candidates who missed examinations due to adverse weather to register at their respective examination centres by July 29 to be eligible for the rescheduled tests.
According to a committee directive, the instruction applies to candidates under all general education boards except the Chattogram Education Board who were absent from the July 13 examinations of Physics (First Paper), Accounting (First Paper) and Logic (First Paper).
The registration requirement also applies to Alim candidates under the Madrasa Education Board who missed English (Second Paper), and candidates under the Technical Education Board who were absent from the Office Management examination.
Examination centres have been instructed to submit the list of registered candidates to the controllers of their respective education boards by July 30.
The committee said the registration process is intended to ensure that all willing candidates are able to sit for the missed examinations, which were disrupted by adverse weather conditions.
