Gas supply to remain suspended for 12hrs in parts of Cumilla for 3-day

Gas supply will remain suspended for 12 consecutive hours each day in several areas of Cumilla on July 27, 28 and 29 to facilitate emergency repair and maintenance work on the gas pipeline network.

The information was confined through a press release issued by Petrobangla, the country's energy sector regulator, on Saturday night.

According to the statement, the maintenance work will be carried out in phases across areas served by Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited (BGDCL).

As a result, gas supply will remain suspended from 8AM to 8PM on the following dates:

27 July (Monday): Cumilla city and its surrounding areas.
28 July (Tuesday): Cumilla Sadar South, Chouara, Suagazi, and adjacent areas.
29 July (Wednesday): Cumilla Cantonment, Chandina, and nearby areas.

Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company has apologised for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers during the maintenance work. The company said gas supply will return to normal once the scheduled repairs are completed.
