PrSTU holds staff capacity development workshop

PIROJPUR, July 26: Pirojpur Science and Technology University (PrSTU) organised a day-long staffs’ capacity development training workshop in the univesity conference room on Saturday. 

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Mohammad Sabirul Islam Hawlader inaugurated the programme as the chief guest. Staffs of 11-20 grades of the university attended the training workshop as participants.   
Skill development and capacity building of all level staffs were the prime objective of the training workshop. 

Key resource person of the training was Dr Md Nokir Uddin, director of Finance and Accounts Department of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The trainer addressed on organisational structure of the institute, role and responsibility, professional discipline, financial and administrative principles, rules, pension, group insurance, GP fund and future benevolent fund.

Registrar (Additional In-charge) Dr Akter Hossain and Deputy Director (DD) of Finance and Accounts Md Arafat Hossain were also present at the workshop.
