2 more die of dengue

Two more people have died of dengue across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, while 423 new patients were admitted to hospitals during the same period. The figures were released in a statement issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday.

According to the statement, of the newly hospitalized patients between 8:00 am Saturday and 8:00 am Sunday, 54 were admitted in Barishal Division, 49 in Chattogram Division, 154 in Dhaka Division, 81 in Khulna Division, 36 in Mymensingh Division, 29 in Rajshahi Division, 16 in Rangpur Division, and four in Sylhet Division.
