TRNB gets new body

A new executive committee has been formed for the Telecom and Technology Reporters’ Network Bangladesh (TRNB), an organisation representing journalists covering the country’s telecommunications and technology sectors.

S M Masuduzzaman Robin, Special Correspondent of Jamuna Television, has been elected president, while Faruk Hossain, Special Correspondent of the Daily Inqilab, has been elected general secretary (GS).

The seven-member executive committee also includes Al-Amin Dewan, Special Correspondent of TechShohor.com, as treasurer.

Elected executive members: Samir Kumar Dey, Senior Reporter (Ittefaq); Mahmudul Hasan, Staff Reporter (Star); and Shuvo Khan, Senior Reporter ( Somoy Tv). 
The biennial general meeting and election were held recently at a hotel in Cox’s Bazar. The newly elected executive committee will serve a two-year term from August 2026 to July 2028.
