CHATMOHAR, PABNA, Aug 5: Posters demanding justice for police killings have been plastered on walls across Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna.
The posters claim to have been put up by the banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), specifically its Chatmohar municipal and upazila branches.
On Wednesday morning, the posters were seen on buildings and walls in New Bazar, Old Bazar and other key areas of the municipal town.
A Facebook page named Bangladesh Chhatra League has claimed responsibility for the poster campaign in Chatmohar.
In this regard, Md. Oliur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Police Station, said, "We came to know about the matter in the morning. Those involved in putting up these posters will be traced and brought under the law." He added that efforts to arrest leaders and activists of all banned organisations are ongoing.
