Unilever Consumer Care names new chairman, senior executives

 
Unilever Consumer Care Ltd (UCL) recently held its 328th Board Meeting, during which several key appointments to the Board and senior management team were approved.

The Board of Directors elected Ruhul Quddus Khan as Chairman of the Board for a three-year term, effective 28 July 2026.

Khan was elected pursuant to Article 94 of UCL’s Articles of Association, following the resignation of the outgoing Chairman, Masud Khan. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd. 

The Board welcomed Khan to his new role and expressed confidence that his leadership and strategic guidance will support UCL’s continued growth and long-term success.

The Board also elected Shadman Sadikin as a Non-Executive Director of UCL.

In addition, subject to the completion of applicable regulatory processes, the Board approved the appointment of Samsuddoha Nayeem as Head of Finance and appointed Sharmin Akter as Company Secretary.
