SSC answer scripts can be re-evaluated: Edu Minister

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milan on Monday said that a provision has been kept for the re-examination or re-evaluation of SSC answer scripts this year.

The Minister made the remarks while inaugurating the SSC result publication ceremony at the Ministry of Education on Monday (August 10).

He explained that previously, students unhappy with their results could only apply for a re-scrutiny (punor-nirikkhon). In that process, examiners merely checked for mathematical errors in mark calculation or overlooked answers, without fresh evaluation.

"Under the new system, provision for complete re-evaluation (punor-mullayon) of answer scripts has been introduced," the Education Minister added.
